Privacy
The hub page collects nothing.
This page and the Plainsum home page are plain HTML and CSS. The two tools have their own, more detailed privacy pages.
This site
The home page and this page contain no JavaScript, set no cookies, use no local storage, and load nothing from other sites. There is no analytics, advertising or error-reporting service. Their security policy forbids scripts and all network connections.
The tools
- Plainsum Statements privacy: your statement PDFs are read in the page and never uploaded.
- Plainsum PDF privacy: your PDFs are redacted and compared in the page and never uploaded.
Each tool keeps its own small record in your browser's local storage under its own name (a Pro license if you activate one, and for Statements a count of free pages used today). One tool cannot read or use the other's.
What the host can see
The site is served as static files from GitHub Pages. Like any website host, it can see ordinary web-server information when you load a page, such as your IP address and which page you asked for. That happens when a page loads and never includes your files.
